Port Charlotte, FL – Muriel M. (Moulton) Barr, 93 of Port Charlotte, FL, died on November 26, 2009.
She was born April 17, 1916 in Portsmouth, NH to the late Ernest J. and Harriet (Goss) Moulton.
Muriel lived most of her life in Rye. She worked as a registered nurse, but above all else, enjoyed being a housewife. She and her late husband, John D. Barr, moved to Florida in 1980 after John’s retirement from teaching in Hampton. While in Florida, she was a member of St. Nathaniel’s Church, the Locke Family Association and the Holiday Park Homeowners.
Family members include her nephew and several cousins.
In addition to her husband John who died in 1993, Muriel was predeceased by her brother William Moulton.
A graveside service will be held at 11 A.M. on Saturday, May 15, 2010 in the Central Cemetery, Rye. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
