                          Norman E. Lieber, Sr.

                               Seabrook – Norman E. Lieber, Sr., 81,                                     of Seabrook, died Wednesday, January                                   20, 2010 at Brigham Manor in                                                 Newburyport, MA with loving family by                                 his side.  

He was born June 6, 1928 in Salisbury, MA, a son of the late Earl C. and Grace E. (Van Amburgh) Lieber

Mr. Lieber was raised in Newburyport and Salisbury, MA and attended Newburyport Vocational Technical School. He lived with his wife Sandra (Fowler) Lieber in Seabrook and was employed by Bailey Corporation of Amesbury, MA and Seabrook, NH for 37 years. He enjoyed fishing with his friends and family for blue fin tuna in his spare time.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, served with the U.S. Merchant Marines, was a 50 year member of St. John's Lodge A.F. & A.M. Masonic Temple in Newburyport and was a life member of the North End Boat Club of Newburyport.

In addition to his wife, Norman is survived by his sons Norman Lieber, Jr. and his wife Martha, Kenneth Lieber and Michael Lieber, Richard Welch, Donald Welch and his wife Rosanna, his brothers Richard Lieber and his wife Hilda of Corpus Christi, TX, David Lieber and his wife Ruby of Benson, AZ, Donald Lieber and his wife Suzanne of Sierra Vista, AZ, his sister Jennie Schultz of Ft. Myers, FL, 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his sister, Marge Oliver.
