High Street Cemetery, Hampton William E. SprattWilliam E. Spratt
Hampton – William E. Spratt, 76, of Hampton, died Monday, January 18, 2010 at Portsmouth Regional Hospital after a brief illness.
He was born June 9, 1933 in Boston, MA and resided on the South Shore there for many years before moving to Hampton in 2003.
Mr. Spratt was a Korean War veteran serving with the US Army. He was employed by Metropolitan Pipe in Cambridge, MA for over 30 years retiring in 2009.
He was predeceased by his wife, Sheila A. (Ronan) Spratt in 1991 and also by a son, William R. Spratt.
Family members include his daughter, Ellen Staple Ford of Hampton, his son, Robert M. Spratt of Dorchester, MA, seven grandchildren, William R. Spratt, Amy C. Spratt, Nicole S. Spratt, Kevin J. Resendes, Alex J. Resendes, Scott M. Resendes and Nicholas W. Resendes and two great grandchildren.
Visiting hours were January 21, 2010 in the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road Hampton. Services were January 22, 2010 in the funeral home. Interment followed in the High Street Cemetery, Hampton.
