Alice Ante

Epping, NH – Alice “Nana” Ante, 84, of Epping, formerly of Milford, MA, died Tuesday, September 30, 2014, at the Exeter Hospital after a brief illness. She was born in Everett, MA on June 15, 1930, a daughter of the late Frank and Rose (DeVito) Stabile. Alice was a kind, caring compassionate, yet strong woman, whose family was her world. She was a wonderful mother, a fantastic grandmother and a loving sister. Her home was always open to family and friends, including all her children’s friends while growing up, she was the true “Neighborhood Mom”. Nana adored her grandchildren and would always make them their own favorite snacks or special meals whenever they visited. She always put others ahead of herself and never had an unkind word for others. In honor of Alice’s life, and as Alice would have wanted, the family asks that everyone say a kind word or do something nice for somebody you know. Alice is survived by her sons, Ray Ante and wife Tracey of Uxbridge, MA and Gino Ante and wife Caren of Milford, MA; her loving daughter, Nancy (Ante) Savini and husband William of Epping; her grandchildren, Haley, Sal, Sarah and Amanda Ante; her sisters, Antoinette Ferragamo of Revere, MA, Mary Nardella of Stoneham and Anne Carideo and husband Pat of Wilmington, MA: her in-laws, Al Poste and Joan Stabile,and life long friend Kathy Briggs . She also leaves many nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends and her special Black Lab puppy Jack, In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Pasquale Stabile and her sisters, Patricia Poste and Rose Stabile. Visiting hours will be from 10:30 to 12:30 on Friday, October 3, 2014 in the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home - Crematory, 811 Lafayette Rd., Hampton, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1 PM on Friday following the visitation at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, 289 Lafayette Rd., Hampton, NH. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Burial will be private.
