Barbara C. Coleman

North Hampton - Barbara C. Coleman, 84, of Castle Hayne, NC, formerly of North Hampton, NH, passed away on Saturday, June 29, 2024, at home surrounded by her Son, Granddaughter Alecia and best friend Nicholl Gleason. She was the wife of the late Louis Coleman Sr. Born in Tuam, Ireland on June 13, 1940, Barbara was the daughter of the late Patrick and Mary (Keane) Gannon. Raised and educated in Ireland. Barbara loved her home in North Hampton and raised her family there. She was a devout catholic and loved to sing. She was a member of the church choir. She was a devoted wife and caring mother who always opened her heart to anyone. She enjoyed walking on beach, working in her garden and visiting Fuller Gardens. She loved her grandchildren and always had a place at her table for anyone. Her laughter and smile was infectious and will be missed by all who knew her. Barbara is survived by her son, Louis Coleman, of Castle Hayne, NC, her four stepchildren Gail Stanley, Kim Faragi Tracey Coleman and Kellie Coleman. And her four grandchildren ; Alecia Rexford and her husband Brandon of Dover, Leticia Messier and her husband Tony of Fairfax, VT, Savanah Coleman and her fiancé Jake Lipinski of Dover, and Taylor Coleman of Land O’ Lakes, FL. She is also survived by her six sisters Anne Leonard, Brenda Reaney, Fionnaula Galusha, Mary DiAngelo, Nellie Scanlan and Martina Quinn, and her three great grandchildren, Killian, Icarus, and Ravenna Messier. In addition to her parents, Barbara is predeceased by her stepson Stephan Coleman and her son Sean Coleman. Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Barbara for a funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, 289 Lafayette Road, Hampton, NH 03842. She will be laid to rest at Center Cemetery in North Hampton immediately following the Mass.
