Charles J."Chuck" Grzybowski

Newfields- Charles J. “Chuck” Grzybowski, 79, of Newfields, and formerly of Hampton, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023. He was born on October 23, 1944, in South Portland, ME to the late Charles and Helen (Malinowski) Grzybowski. Chuck moved to Hampton in 1954, where he attended Hampton Schools and Winnacunnet High School. Following high school, Chuck went into the trades and worked in everything from plumbing to electrical work. He moved to Portsmouth in 1965, when he and his wife (Margaret A. Clarke) started their family. In 1977 the family moved back to Hampton; his wife (Margaret) passed away in 1991. He met his wife Sharon in 1993 and married in 1996. They shared a home in Newfields, NH for 30 years. Those that knew him will remember his kindness and generosity, Chuck was a great person to have on your side. He loved making conversation with all people, and always had special pet names for everyone such as “Dear”. He enjoyed taking long drives on backroads, and his favorite past time was winning on his scratch tickets. Surviving members include his wife of 27 years, Sharon. Son Joseph Grzybowski & wife Kathleen of Hampton, granddaughter Tessa Perry & husband Jake of MO. Great-granddaughter Shenandoah Perry of MO. Son David Grzybowski & wife Diana, grandson Cody of Hampton. Son Eric Grzybowski of Hampton, grandson Cameron & wife Victoria Grzybowski of LA, grandson Jacob of Newmarket, NH, grandson Brogan & granddaughter Shaelynn Grzybowski both of Barrington, NH. Son Jason Grzybowski & partner Aimee of Hampton, granddaughters Meryn & Adrienne Grzybowski also of Hampton. Stepchildren: Daughter, Amy & husband Robert Schimoler of Newfields, and grandsons Hayden, Brennan, & Nolan Schimoler all of Newfields. Stepson Brett Smith and grandson Damon Smith of Newfields, NH. Sister Linda Grant & husband Dean Grant of Kittery, ME, nephew Dean “DJ” Grant & partner Dawn of Kittery, ME, and nephew Jeffery & wife Sara Grant of Cape Neddick, ME. In addition to his parents, Chuck was predeceased by his sister Jane Brooks. Visitation will be held from 4PM to 6PM on Monday, December 4, 2023, in the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home, Hampton NH 03842. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home immediately following visitation. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to any SPCA.
