David James Gagne Sr.

Seabrook - David James Gagne Sr. 72, of Seabrook, passed away on Sunday, January 29, 2023, at Lahey Hospital in Burlington surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of Nancy (Binda) Gagne. Born in Manchester on October 04, 1950, David was the son of the late Edmund and Lucille (Richard) Gagne. Raised and educated in Manchester, David graduated from Goffstown High School in 1968. From there David went on to attend New Hampshire College and began a lifelong banking career at Citizens Bank. In retirement, he started his own operations consultant business. David was a family man with unbounded generosity. He was an avid Boston Sports fan and a great lover of music. David also enjoyed outdoor life, including camping, boating, fishing, and hiking. He was an active member of his community, serving on several boards and committees including the First Congregational Church of Hampton, Baxter Lake campground, and the Music Boosters at Winnacunnet High School. He also volunteered at his children's sports and community events. David is survived by his wife, Nancy (Binda) Gagne, of Seabrook, his children; David Gagne Jr. and his wife Tsugiko of Keaau, HI, Rebecca Eaton and her husband Scott of Merrimac, MA, and Anthony Gagne of Seabrook, his siblings; Anne Gagnon of Goffstown, Susan Forand and her husband Andy of DeLand, FL, Richard Gagne and his wife Cindy of Penacook, Judy Tarr and her husband Jim of Goffstown, and Steven Gagne and his wife Janie of Leicester, NC as well as his son-in-law, Thomas Bergeron of Rollinsford. He also leaves his five grandchildren; Noah, Mia, Olivia, Taylor, and Brody. In addition to his parents, David is predeceased by his siblings, Matthew Gagne, Mary Jane Lortie, and Bruce Gagne, as well as his brother-in-law Bob Gagnon. Family and friends will gather to honor and remember David for a period of visitation on Thursday, February 2, 2023 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. in the Remick and Gendron Funeral Home, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton. A memorial service will be held for David on Friday, February 3, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the First Congregational Church of Hampton, 127 Winnacunnet Rd, Hampton.
