Francis W. "Franny" Perkins

Seabrook - Francis W. “Franny” Perkins, 53, of Seabrook, passed away unexpectedly at Portsmouth Regional Hospital on Friday, February 23, 2024. Born in Exeter on September 19, 1970, he was a beloved son of the late Donald and Rita (Kelleher) Perkins. Raised in Seabrook, he attended Seabrook schools. Throughout his life, he found fulfillment in various trades but dedicating much of his career to being a skilled mechanic. Fran was a genius when it came to anything with an engine. He put in a lot of hours and hard work, completing tasks like changing a motor in a single day. Franny also spent time working on a farm in Kingston, where he found joy in caring for the animals and fixing tractors. When he wasn’t under the hood of a truck with grease up to his elbows, he was doing whatever he could to help his mom and dad fix things around the house. A Jack of all trades and an entrepreneur at heart, he embraced every opportunity that came his way. Franny was a man who cherished connections with others. He possessed a generous spirit and was always eager to lend a helping hand, whether it was fixing a friends car or pulling someone out of the mud. He enjoyed spending time with friends and his nephew Jayden riding snowmobiles, dirt bikes, ATV’s, and anything else he could squeal the wheels off. Restlessness defined him, as he couldn't sit still for a minute, always on the go and ready for the next adventure. Franny is survived by his son, Jacob Perkins, step children Ethan and Jasmine Peverley, his brothers Donald Jr., Steve, and Ricky Perkins, his sisters Carol Nichols and Helyn Perkins, his nieces Toni Valli, Jessica Jones, Miryah Mejia, Kirsten, Brooklyn and Tabitha Perkins, and his nephews, Jeffrey Lennox, Georgie Eaton, Eric Jones, Michael and Daniel Sodoyer, Ricky Donahue, and Donald Perkins lll, his many aunts uncles and cousins. Additionally, he is remembered by his best friend Bobby Lennox, mother-in-law Cathy Gosselin Maryea, mentor Chucky Rosa, and numerous friends. Franny is predeceased by his father Donald Perkins, nephew Jonathan Jones, brother Kevin Perkins, sister Cynthia Sodoyer, and Tameka Gray. Services for Franny and his mother Rita will be held at Brook of Hope, 49 New Zealand Road, Seabrook, NH, on March 22nd at 2:00. Food and refreshments will be offered after the service. Followed by a celebration of life held at Bobby Lennox house. Please join us in honoring the lives of two very special people who will be missed dearly.
