Jack W. Kimball

Hampton - Jack Walse Kimball, 73, of Hampton, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family, on Saturday, May 25, 2024. He was born on December 19, 1950, in Milford, MA, a son of the late Stephen and Mary (Dufresne) Kimball. He shared 50 years of marriage with his high school sweetheart Barbara (Morrow) at the time of his passing. Raised in Milford, MA, and Woburn, MA, Jack attended Woburn High School. While in school, he diligently worked at his family’s business, Kimball Greenhouses in Tewksbury, MA. Dedicated to the family business, he eventually became the greenhouse manager. Jack had a natural talent for gardening and took pleasure in adorning his home with seasonal flowers. After the closure of Kimball Greenhouses in 2000, Jack found joy working at Gales Greenhouses in Tewksbury. Jack met his wife Babs while attending high school, and the couple exchanged vows in 1973. They settled in the Seacoast in 2014, drawn by the allure of the beach. An avid golfer and enthusiast of yardwork, Jack had a passion for cars, particularly muscle cars like Corvettes. He possessed a wealth of knowledge about vehicles and cherished his inheritance of a special white '68 Camaro from a cousin. In his home workshop, Jack spent time woodworking and crafted Adirondack chairs. Jack’s knack for reorganizing cluttered spaces such as garages and basements was renowned. He will be remembered for his caring nature, great sense of humor, and warm, compassionate demeanor. Family was paramount to Jack, and he treasured his relationships with loved ones. Left to cherish his memory are his wife Babs, siblings Stephen “Harry” Kimball and wife Cynthia of Collinsville, OK, and Debra Suprenant and husband Dennis of Templeton, MA. He is also survived by brothers-in-law Keith Morrow and wife Ellen of Methuen, MA, Jack Morrow and wife Joyce of Pepperell, MA, and Jeffrey Morrow of North Chelmsford, MA., as well as many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held from 3 – 6 PM on Thursday, May 30, 2024 in the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton.
