Kenneth P. Hollingworth

Hampton - Kenneth Peter Hollingworth 78, of Hampton passed away peacefully May 16, 2026 at Exeter Hospital. Ken was born in Dorval, QC Canada December 8, 1947. Ken was the husband of the late Carol Hollingworth, with whom he shared 33 adventure-filled years of marriage. Together they built a life centered on family, community, creating cherished memories and packing up the family caravan for countless roadtrips! Following retirement, Ken and Carol enjoyed spending their days golfing, playing card games, and watching Boston sports teams, simple moments that brought them great joy. He was predeceased by his wife, Carol Hollingworth, and his daughter, Cathryn “Kate” Lyndsey Hollingworth. A devoted father and Papa, Ken’s greatest pride was his family. He is survived by his daughters, Shannon and her husband Bill Tremblay, and Kerry and her husband Paul Quinn; along with his beloved grandchildren, Grace, Ava, Ben, Olivia, Caroline, and Kenzy, all of whom brought immeasurable happiness and pride to his life. Ken will be remembered for his sense of humor, although not always appropriate and strong, sometimes stubborn personality. He had a warm and welcoming nature that made others feel comfortable in his company, and his loyalty to those he loved never wavered. His quiet wisdom, generous spirit, and deep love for family will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him. Reunited now with Carol and Kate, Ken’s memory will forever remain a source of comfort, love and the occasional off putting humor, his family and friends will treasure. He will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered always. The family would like to thank the nursing staff at Exeter Hospital especially the team on 4 East for their support and comfort during his final days. Visitation will be held from 4 - 5:30 pm on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton, NH 03842. A brief celebration of life will be held immediately following at 5:30 pm in the funeral home. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
