Margaret "Peggy" Ann Russ

Hampton - Margaret “Peggy” Ann Russ, age 62, of Hampton passed away at home on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 surrounded by her family. Born in Lawrence, MA, on April 6, 1960, Peggy was the daughter of the late Francis and Marilyn (Coogan) McNeil. Raised and educated in Hampton, Peggy graduated from Winnacunnet High School. From there, Peggy went on to start a life-long career in Real Estate. She worked as Administrative Manager at Prudential Rush Realty for 27 years, and most recently for RE/MAX on the Move. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 35 years, Frank Russ, whom she met while vacationing in Hawaii where he was stationed in the Navy. For anyone who knew Peggy, you know she would never have been seen without one of her many pairs of sunglasses on, blinged out, carrying her large iced mocha latte wearing her flip flops. She loved the beach, although many of her years were spent at Lake Winnipesaukee where they kept their boat. A great deal of vacations were spent hanging out with Mickey and Minnie in Disney. Though she loved to vacation, her most precious time was always spent with her granddaughter Mia, whether going out to dinner or spending the day on their boat. Her family remained her focus throughout all her obstacles. Peggy was a caring, supportive, and loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend. Although she is no longer with us, she has left the legacy of her love, strength, and perseverance. In addition to her husband, Peggy is survived by her children, Kimberly and her husband Antonio Pietrantonio, and Cody Russ and his significant other, Dana Pratt; siblings, Robert McNeil and Paul McNeil and his wife Bonnie McNeil, and her granddaughter Mia Pietrantonio. Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Peggy for a period of visitation on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, from 5 - 7 pm in the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton. A graveside service will take place at 11 am on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at High Street Cemetery, 140 High Street, Hampton.
