Marilyn Noyes Ayles

Marilyn N. Ayles of Hampton Falls, NH passed away on November 19, 2023 at the age of 80 after a long and courageous battle with a respiratory disease. Marilyn is survived by her devoted husband Paul, her sons Dwight Ayles and his wife Judy (Carter) of Epping, NH, and Robert Ayles and his wife Amy (Cooper) of Melrose, MA. Marilyn is also survived by her sister, Anne E. Jensen, of New Smyrna Beach, FL, and she leaves six grandchildren: Kyle, Nikole and her husband Elliot, Lauren, Henry, Carter and Grace. She is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews. Marilyn's first priority was always her family; she loved spending time with all of them. After graduating from Forsythe School for Dental Hygiene at Tufts University, Marilyn worked as a dental hygienist, and she flourished in a career that she loved. She enjoyed attending annual conferences and pursuing continuing education. She was a leader in the churches she attended in Weymouth, MA, Duxbury, MA and Hampton, NH. Marilyn was a natural leader and was involved in countless community and charitable endeavors. Whatever project she took on benefited from her passion, energy and enthusiasm. She was a voracious reader, a gifted and appreciated cook, and someone who always enjoyed time knitting with her "knitting buddies." She took her children and grandchildren to all kinds of interesting places: from the White Mountains to the Old West. Many who knew her fondly remember the joy she brought others and her unmistakable laugh. Family and friends will gather to honor and remember Marilyn for a period of visitation on Friday, January 5, 2024, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Remick and Gendron Funeral Home, located at 811 Lafayette Rd, Hampton, NH. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, January 6, 2023, at 10:00 AM at the First Congregational Church of Hampton, NH located at 127 Winnacunnet Road, Hampton, NH. Marilyn will be laid to rest immediately following the memorial service at Westview Cemetery in Hampton Falls, weather permitting.
