Thomas A Dupuis

Seabrook- Thomas Albert Dupuis, 77, of Seabrook, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2019 at the Country Center for Health and Rehabilitation in Newburyport, MA. He was born on December 19, 1942 in Lynn, MA, a son of the late Albert and Mary (Ford) Dupuis. Tom shared over 47 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Ellen (Capone) Dupuis. Tom was raised in Lynn, MA and graduated from Lynn Classical High School, class of 1958. After high school, he received his Bachelor’s Degree from Anna Maria College, and then went on to get his Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice from Merrimack College. He served the City of Lynn as a Patrolman for over 30 years and retired in 2001. Tom met Ellen while issuing her a ticket during a traffic stop. After several failed attempts to talk to her, Ellen relented, they fell in love and were married. The young couple settled in North Reading, MA to raise their family and relocated to New Hampshire upon Tom’s retirement. He was a hard-working man and a great provider for his family. While in North Reading, Tom belonged to the Knights of Columbus at St. Theresa’s Church. He was also an avid golfer, movie buff, particularly war movies and really enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson. He is survived by his wife Ellen, his dauaghter, Jennifer Mulloy and her husband Michael Mulloy of Hampton, NH, his sons, Brian Dupuis and his wife, Jennifer Shea, of Lowell, MA and Mark Dupuis and his partner Amy Lauer of East Kingston. He is also survived by his grandchildren Ella Grace Mulloy, Finnegan Michael Mulloy, Andrew Richard Dupuis and Julian Thomas Dupuis. He also leaves his siblings, Edward Dupuis and his wife Rita of Lynn and his sister Maureen Dupré and her husband, John, of FL and several nieces and nephews. Visiting hours will be held from 10 to 1130 AM on Thursday, January 2, 2020 in the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 PM on Thursday following the visitation at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, 289 Lafayette Road, Hampton.
