Stratham – Andrew (“Andy”) David Silberdick, 42, of Stratham passed away of a sudden and unexpected cardiac event June 14, 2020. He was born in Hanover on May 16, 1978, a son of Norman Silberdick of Hampton and Kathleen Hudson of Dover. Andrew shared 12 years of marriage with his beloved wife, Caroline Lawless. Andrew grew up in Bellows Falls, VT and the Seacoast of NH. The family moved to Hampton in 1995. Andy graduated from Winnacunnet High School in 1996 where he played hockey at WHS for three years and with his brother Aaron, started the WHS lacrosse Club. While at UNH, he took a position with Jones & Company of Newport Beach, CA as an institutional stock trader working in both the Boston and Portsmouth offices where he worked for the last 20 years. Andrew earned his bachelor’s degree in Business from UNH. He and Caroline were married in 2008, built their home and settled in Stratham to raise their family. Andrew loved his family and his kids were his life. He particularly enjoyed taking them fishing at the local ponds and teaching them to play tennis at the Seacoast Tennis Club. Andrew was a light-hearted and generous man. He was a fantastic Dad, son, brother and friend and will be sadly missed by all those who knew and loved him. In addition to his parents and his wife, Andrew leaves his children, Jackson and Jocelyn, his brother, Aaron Silberdick and his wife Heather of Alton Bay and his sister Tami Moore and her husband Russell of Dover. He also leaves his nieces and nephews, Samuel Moore, Brayden and Gaige Silberdick and Matthew, Eva and Landon Lawless and his mother’s helper who helped raise him in Vermont Laura (“Cissy”) Rheaume. Visiting hours will be from 11 am to 2 pm on Saturday, June 20, 2020 in the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, in Hampton. Visitors should be aware that a limited number of people will be allowed in the funeral home at any one time. Social distancing must be practiced and masks will be required. A gathering with light refreshments and lots of memories to be shared will be held at 3:30 after the visiting hours at 13 Heron Way, Stratham.
