Benjamin T. Hastie

June 9, 1989 - April 26, 2022

Dover - Benjamin T. Hastie, 32, it is with our broken hearts that he has sadly left us on April 26, 2022. His home was in Dover which he shared with his longtime girlfriend Jenni O’Neill and his most loved and precious girl boxer Bixee. He was born on June 9, 1989 in Nashua, the fifth son of Danny and Jeannie Hastie. In addition to his parents, surviving family members include his brothers, Nicholas and his wife Amy, Daniel and his wife Shawna, Adam and Christopher; his nephews, Caleb and Nicholas; his niece, Samantha; his doggie nieces, Juju and Philly girl who is everyone’s best friend. Also survived by many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Ben graduated with the class of 2007 from Merrimack High School along with is two longtime best friends Tim (Timmy) and Josh. He started his career in Mechanical CAD design and became self-employed. Ben (aka) “Big Baby” to all who knew and loved him had a big heart and an excellent sense of humor. Ben loved music and was a self-taught musician in all instruments but his favorite was his keyboard as well as his drums and guitar. He would write and compose his own music and play for hours. Ben loved his fitness and his daily workouts, he also loved to watch wrestling and was very passionate about his cooking and would always send pictures of his food creations. He was a wordsmith and avid writer, Ben has always had so many interests and hobbies. He had such a love for elephants and collected so many, but only with trunks up as those are the ones with compassion and happiness. Ben had the brightest smile ever that would light up any room he walked into and you could feel his presence. He was the greatest gift God could give. We are all so broken in our hearts, but we will see him on the other side and that’s something to look forward to every day. A private family celebration for Ben will be held at a later date. In Ben’s memory, feel free to send flowers to someone you love or make a donation to the Worldwildlife.org/save elephants by clicking here.
