Cynthia L. Higgins Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

North Hampton – Cynthia Lois Higgins, 66, of North Hampton, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 after a brief illness. She was born on November 11, 1955 in Portsmouth, a daughter of the late Harold W. and June L. (Wilson) Higgins. She shared nearly 20 years with her devoted husband, James C. Petropoulakos. Cindy worked as a bartender at Ron’s Beach House, Ron’s Landing and the 401 Tavern. She loved her family and being with her grandchildren and especially enjoyed being called Grammy and Auntie by her many family members. In addition to her loving husband Jim, Cindy leaves her son, Paul Higgins and his wife, Star and their sons, Paul Jr. and Teddy of Hampton, her stepchildren, Dee Gore and her sons, Hayden and Gavin of Alpharetta, GA and Peter Petropoulakos and his wife, Ly and their children, Athina and Demetrious of Newport Beach, CA. She also leaves her siblings, Bob and Diane Higgins of Hampton, Rick and Linda Higgins of Georgia, Deb Higgins of Virginia and Jeffrey and Pam Higgins of Rye. She was predeceased by her parents, her “Irish twin sister” Patty Piper of Rye and her nephew, Benjamin Piper. A graveside service will be held at 12 PM on Saturday, June 25, 2022 in the Rye Central Cemetery with a Celebration of Life to follow at 1 PM at The Victoria Inn, 430 High St., Hampton.
