David K. "Dave" Currier Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

North Hampton – David K. “Dave” Currier, 57, of North Hampton, died peacefully Friday, November 6, 2015 at his home. He was born in North Hollywood, CA May 21, 1958 the son of the late Charles and Marion (Cammett) Currier. Raised in Amesbury, MA he graduated from Amesbury High School with the Class of 1976. Dave helped construct the Seabrook Power Plant and later worked various jobs for the power plant. He was an on call fire fighter for the town of North Hampton for a number of years, but most recently was employed by Securitas as a security officer. He was active in firearm competitions in his younger years, winning a number of competitions. He enjoyed music and watching old science fiction movies. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Celeste Buckmore of North Hampton; his nieces and nephews, Hunter, Michael and Lindsey Buckmore and Liam and Shannon Riley. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his niece Meghan Riley and his faithful companion Chief. A Celebration of Life will be held from 1-4 PM on Thursday, November 12, 2015 at the Galley Hatch Restaurant, 325 Lafayette Road, Hampton. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Transportation Assistance for Seacoast Citizens, 200 High Street, Hampton, NH 03842.
