Florence M. Bertone Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Seabrook – Florence Mary Bertone, 104, of Seabrook, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, June 18, 2022 surrounded by those she loved. She was born June 9, 1918 in Danvers, MA the daughter of the late Joseph and Clarisse (Labelle) Cloutier. Florence shared over 65 years of wonderful marriage with her late husband, Richard Bertone who died in 1998. Florence was employed as an assembly worker for Sylvania GTE in Danvers, MA for 25 years. She and Richard moved to Seabrook in 1978 from the Hamilton and Beverly, MA area. She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church in Hampton, a member of the Seabrook Happy Seniors, SALT of Stoneybrook and in her earlier years enjoyed bowling, knitting and crocheting. Family members include her son, Robert W. Bertone of Seabrook, two daughters, Sandra J. Dawson of Rowley, MA, Linda M. Michaud and husband John of Hamilton, MA, 22 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by her son, Richard C. Bertone and her daughter, Clarice A. MacArthur. Visiting hours will be from 1 to 3 PM on Thursday, June 23, 2022 in Remick & Gendron Funeral Home – Crematory, 811 Lafayette Rd., Hampton. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 A.M. Friday, June 24, 2022 at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, 289 Lafayette Rd., Hampton. Burial will follow in the Hillside Cemetery, Seabrook. The family suggests that donations may be made to OLMM Church OutReach Program, 289 Lafayette Road, Hampton, NH 03842.
