John A. Kooyoomjian Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Seabrook – John A. Kooyoomjian, 83, of Seabrook, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 23, 2022 with loving family at his side. He was born March 22, 1938 in Boston, MA a son of the late Avedis Kooyoomjian and Alice (Halabian) Opoian. Raised in Dorchester, MA he has made the Seacoast his home since 1992. A career car salesman, he worked at various dealers throughout the New Hampshire Seacoast and North Shore of Massachusetts. John was a man of faith with a huge heart and great sense of humor; who could light up a room with his presence alone. Family was of the upmost importance and he always put their needs before his own, even on his last days. He could often be found with his pipe or favorite cigar watching sports, western or war movies. He also enjoyed cooking and cribbage among many other things. He shared over 40 years of marriage with his loving wife, Linda (Morrissey) Kooyoomjian of Seabrook. In addition to his wife, surviving family members include his children, Danielle Pydynkowski and her husband Billy of Hampton, Carol A. Tuttle and her husband Kyle of Portsmouth, Lisa Gigante, Craig Kooyoomjian and his wife Nikole, Keith Kooyoomjian, John Kooyoomjian and Kevin Jones; several grandchildren including Abria and Chase who held a special place in his heart; siblings, Gloria Raphaelian and George Kooyoomjian and his wife Lucille and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his daughter, Christina Kooyoomjian; son in law, Joe Gigante and brother in law, Leo Raphaelian. Visitation will be held from 11 AM – 1 PM on Friday, January 28th 2022 in the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton, NH with a service immediately following at 1 PM in the funeral home. Burial will be in the High Street Cemetery, Hampton. Relatives and closest friends are respectfully invited and masks will be required.
