Kelley Ayn Serpis

March 23, 1996 - May 20, 2017

Hampton - Kelley Ayn Serpis, 21, passed away peacefully of an undiagnosed heart condition at Massachusetts General Hospital on Saturday, May 20, 2017. Kelley was surrounded by her loving parents, Nancy and Greg, her two loving brothers, Gordon and Matthew, her aunt Stacey Tirabassi and her grandfather Paul Kelley and his partner Karen Casey. Kelley was born on March 23, 1996 in Portland, ME to Gregory and Nancy (Kelley) Serpis. She was a graduate of Winnacunnet High School with the Class of 2013 and attended Northern Essex Community College. Kelley excelled in her courses towards a certificate in the Human Services Program, making the Dean’s list each semester. She was an Assistant Manager at Lucky Dog Daycare and was most proud of the dog sitting, walking and wellness check business that she built over the last several years. Kelley had a free spirit, an infectious laugh, a feisty personality and a huge heart. Kelley was well loved by her family and many friends. She wanted to save the world one person and one dog at a time. Kelley had a passion for dogs, cooking, family vacations in Florida, crystal gemstones, being near the ocean, and was an avid reader. Kelley will be deeply missed and will remain forever young in our hearts and memories. In addition to her beloved family members listed, she is survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, her dog Tigger and her friends that live throughout the country. Kelley was predeceased by her Nana, Jan Kelley, with whom she had a close bond, her Grammy and Papou, Connie and Mike Serpis. Visiting hours are from 3 to 6 pm on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 in the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home – Crematory, 811 Lafayette Rd., Hampton. A Celebration of Life Service will follow the visitation starting at 6 pm in the funeral home. Burial will be private. If desired, donations in Kelley’s memory can be made to the New Hampshire SPCA, PO Box 196, Stratham, NH 03885, online at www.nhspca.org/ or to the Lane Library, 2 Academy Ave., Hampton, NH 03842.
