Newmarket – Kristin J. Weinhold, 54, of Newmarket, formerly of Stratham, died Sunday, September 15, 2019 at her summer residence on Worthley Pond in Peru, ME with her loving family and friends by her side. Kristin fought a courageous battle with cancer with grace and determination over the last 10 months. She was born July 6, 1965 in Milwaukee, WI the daughter of Richard and Karen (Stiefel) Butt of Fort Myers, FL. Kristin graduated from University Lake School a college preparatory school in Hartland, WI with the Class of 1983 and from the University of Wisconsin in 1987. She was a Fellow in the Society of Actuaries and employed by Liberty Mutual Insurance Company for more than 23 years and most recently by the Lincoln Financial Group. She was a longtime member of Regeneration Church in Exeter and enjoyed spending much of her winters in Fort Myers, FL and her summers in Peru, Me. She shared nearly 29 years of marriage with her husband Peter Weinhold. In addition to her husband and parents she leaves two sons, Andrew Weinhold of Charlottesville, VA and Daniel Weinhold of Golden, CO, her brother Jonathan Butt and his wife Anne of Mequon, WI. Kristin leaves a very large extended family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. Kristin also leaves hundreds of friends, many life-long or life changing who love her dearly. Visiting hours will be from 5-8 PM Friday, September 20, 2019 at the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton. Services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Regeneration Church, 4 Elm Street, Exeter. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. In lieu of traditional remembrances, donations may be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute or to Regeneration Church
