Leroy "Roy" Remington Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Hampton Falls – Leroy Clinton “Roy” Remington, 89, of Hampton Falls, passed peacefully surrounded by his family July 28, 2022. He was born January 13, 1933 in Roxbury, Maine. He was the loving husband of the late Floris “Sissy’ Remington. Awesome father to Danny and his wife Kelly, Cathi and her husband Dave, Kevin and his wife Pam, five beautiful grandchildren, Natasha and her partner Brandon, Taylor and her partner John, Jesse and his wife Mollie, Ryan, Leanne and her husband Brett and three wonderful great grandchildren, Olivia 11, Natalie 7, and Charlie 5, his sister-in-law Barbara Remington and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by his three sisters, Mae, Dottie and Jeannie and three brothers, Earl, Hank and Kenny. Roy served in Korea with the US Army from 1953-1955. He is also in the Hall of Fame for swimming and led a very active life style. He loved to bowl, play cards, walk and spend time with family and friends. He was a refrigeration engineer and was employed by Americold for many years. Roy was a man of many talents. The family would like to thank New England Cancer Center and Rockingham VNA and Hospice for all their support. Visiting hours will be from 4-6 P.M. Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton. Services will immediately follow at 6 P.M. in the funeral home. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Boys and Girls Clubs of Portland, 277 Cumberland Avenue, Portland, ME 04101.
