Louise E. Knox Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

North Hampton – Louise Evelyn Knox, 92, of North Hampton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at the Portsmouth Hospital. Louise was born in Exeter on November 17, 1929, a daughter of the late Howard and Alice (Foote) Margeson. She shared over 45 years of marriage with her late husband, Harry Knox, who predeceased her in 2000. Louise was raised in Exeter and graduated from Robinson Female Seminary. She worked as a bookkeeper for the Rockingham County 4-H Extension for many years. Louise met her beloved Harry at a 4-H function in the mid-1950s. She and Harry were married and settled in their home in North Hampton where she lived until her passing. Louise volunteered at many 4-H functions including the Stratham and Deerfield Fairs where she participated in everything from judging events to offering sewing lessons. She was also an outstanding baker and was well-known for supplying her neighbor and many friends with a steady supply of goodies. She was a member of the Hampton Falls First Baptist Church for many years. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Sparkowich, her grandchildren, Rachael Tancrede and her husband, Maurice of North Hampton, Karen Sparkowich of Biddeford, ME and Ben Sparkowich, also of Biddeford. She also leaves her great grandchildren, Abigail and Austin Tancrede and her loving foster family, Suzanne Pritzlau and Laura, Ashley, Sara and DeAnna Chevrette. In addition to Harry, Louise was predeceased by son, Brian Knox and her sister, Phyllis Margeson. Services will be private.
