Margaret A. Arsenault

January 26, 1932 - November 2, 2021

Hampton - Margaret “Peggy” (Haley) Arsenault, 89, of Hampton and formerly of Newburyport, MA passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at her home in Hampton Meadows. Peggy was born in Newburyport on January 26, 1932, a daughter of the late John and Catherine Haley. She was predeceased by her husband of 55 years H. Raymond Arsenault in November 2018. Peggy was raised in Newburyport and was a graduate of Newburyport High School. She worked for several years as a medical secretary in Boston where she met Ray. Peg and Ray lived and raised their family in Newburyport where Peggy was primarily a homemaker until their retirement where they spent winters in Vero Beach, Florida and summers in Hampton. Peggy was very involved in her church and all the communities where she lived and had many close friends. Her greatest joy was raising her four boys and spending time with her 13 grandchildren and one great grandson. Peggy was extremely involved with her boys while they were growing up and never missed an activity, a field trip or any of the sporting events that they played through the years. She was an avid New England sports fan especially enjoying watching the Red Sox. She will be remembered fondly by her children Robert Arsenault and wife Ellen of Hampton and their children Ryan, Connor his fiancée Alexis and Kelly. David Arsenault and wife Amy of Hampton and their children C.J. his wife Sunny and their son Mason, Aaron, Haley her husband Kevin, and Taylor and her fiancé Jack. Peter Arsenault and wife Colleen of Amesbury and their children Ray, Luke and Will. Jeff Arsenault of Hampton and his children Abby, Travis and Kyle. Peggy also leaves her loving sister Mary Fenlon of Salem N.H., and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband Ray she was predeceased by premature baby daughter Ann and her brother John Haley. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday November 6, 2021 at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, Hampton. Burial will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Outreach Program, 289 Lafayette Road, Hampton, NH 03842. Arrangements are by the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, Hampton.
