Mary A. Felch

March 20, 1926 - January 10, 2016

Seabrook – Mary A. Felch, 89, of Seabrook died Sunday, January 10, 2016 at her daughter’s home in Florida. She was surrounded by her loving family. She was born in East Stratford, NH on March 20, 1926, a daughter of the late Arthur and Emma (Stone) Pervere. Mrs. Felch was raised in East Stratford and later settled in Seabrook when she was married to Thomas Felch in 1946. There they raised their family. After Thomas’ death in 1983, Mary moved to Pittsfield to take care of her father and returned to Seabrook in late 2014. She worked for Barr & Bloomfield (Welpro) and also Western Electric. She always had a huge garden in her yard and was well known for her fabulous cakes that she baked and decorated. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Family members include her sons, Richard and wife Sharon of Sissiton, SD, Thomas of Alamagorda, NM, Chester and wife Gladys of Kensington and Michael and wife Jessica of Pittsfield; her daughters, Linda Luke and husband Ronald of Bradenton, FL, Carol Contos and husband Paul of Nashua and Roberta Sullivan and husband Brett of Seabrook; her brother, Roger Pervere and wife Ada Mae of Stockton, CA; her sisters Evelyn Portigue and husband Francis of Alton and Josephine Humes of Seabrook and her stepsisters, Elaine Dame and Donna Plante. She also leaves her 18 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by Thomas, her beloved husband of over 37 years, her brother Clarence Pervere and her sisters, Virginia Porter, Millie Burroughs and Natalie Pervere. Family and friends may visit from 6 to 8 pm on Friday, January 15, 2016 at the Hampton Falls First Baptist Church, 3 Lincoln Ave., Hampton Falls. Services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday at the church. Burial will be next to her husband in the Elmwood Cemetery, Seabrook. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
