Stratham – Raymond “Buddy” John Elliott, Jr., 71, of Stratham and a former longtime resident of Port Washington, NY, Westbury NY and Medford, NY, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 23, 2022. He was born in Mineola, NY on June 26, 1950, a son of the late Raymond and Kathleen (Murray) Elliott. Ray shared over 51 years of marriage with his devoted wife, Jessica (Casilli) Elliott. After high school, Ray proudly served his country with the United States Navy. He and Jessica were married in 1970 and raised their family in Westbury and Medford on Long Island. Ray served his community as a police officer with the Suffolk County Police Department on Long Island for over 14 years and retired in 1992. He owned and operated Stuck on You, a magnetic therapy business out of Stratham for several years and was a member of the Kiwanis of Exeter. Ray loved to travel and visited family all over the world. He loved being on the open road. Whether riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle or driving his car for hours at a time, there was no distance too far. A dedicated husband and father. He loved his family and friends. There is nothing he wouldn’t do to help anyone in need. Ray will be missed by many and always loved. In addition to Jessica, Ray leaves his children, Raymond Elliott and his wife, Michele of Greenland, Michael Elliott and his wife, Dawn of Medford, NY, Steven Elliott and his wife Melinda of San Diego, CA and Kathleen Cox and her husband, Nathan of Crestview, FL.
