Amesbury, MA - Richard O. Pender, Jr., 61, of Amesbury, died Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at his home after a period of failing health. He was born January 3, 1960 a son of the late Richard O. and Brenda Lou (Janvrin) Pender. Rick attended Amesbury schools and graduated from Amesbury High School with the Class of 1978. He worked on the family farm, the Pender Dairy Farm in Amesbury and enjoyed his time as a milkman doing delivery. He had also worked as a machinist until his health prevented him from continuing. He was a Mopar / Dodge enthusiast and enjoyed drag racing and cars. He named his cat Charger. His other enjoyment was watching westerns. He leaves his two sisters, Stacy Melvin and her husband George of Kingston, NH, Gleann Bagnall and her husband Richard of Franklin, NH, nephews Riley and George Melvin, III, his niece Sadie Melvin and cousins. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brother Jeffrey Pender. A celebration of Rick’s life will be held a later date. Arrangements are by the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, Hampton, NH.
