Seabrook – Rosemarie Smith, 91, of Seabrook, died Sunday February 21, 2021 at her home with family by her side. She was born in Cambridge, MA October 17, 1929 a daughter of the late Antonio and Muriel E. (Mason) Tomaino. She graduated from Cambridge High & Latin and the New England School of Art in Boston. She worked as an assembler for Hood Rubber and BF Goodrich. Mrs. Smith moved to Seabrook in 1962 coming from Cambridge. She was a member of the Trinity United Church, served as trustee, deaconess, as the treasurer of the Women’s Fellowship, co-chaired the harvest supper and also served on the search committee. She was a Justice of the Peace, Notary Public, member of R.S.V.P., helped at Bingo at the Seabrook Recreation Center, enjoyed cross stitching, crocheting and sewing. She was also a member of the Motorcycle Maids of America and the former Tide Mill Chapter #67 O.E.S. of Hampton. She shared 41 years of marriage with her husband, Walter N. Smith, who predeceased her in 2003. She was also predeceased by five brothers, William Fasci, Richard, Robert Norman, Robert and Peter Tomaino, four sisters, Evelyn Dinjian and Mary Derbyshire, Margaret Merricks and Nancy Leva. Family members include many grandchildren including Marion Pollak and her husband Rick of Columbia, MO, many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews including Tracey Carnevale and her husband Jeff of Salisbury, MA and Robin Tomaino of Seabrook, sister-in-law Joan Tomaino, dear friends John and Natalie Labby, Sandy Beaudoin and Betty Parker all of Seabrook. Visiting hours will be from 3-5 P.M. Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton. Services will be held at 11 A.M. Thursday, February 25, 2021 at Trinity United Church, Lafayette Road, Seabrook. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Burial will follow in the Hillside Cemetery, Seabrook.
