July 3, 1946 - October 9, 2015

Hampton – Rosemary A. Ruggiero, 69, of Hampton, died Friday, October 9, 2015 at Exeter Hospital after a lengthy and hard fought battle with cancer. She was born July 3, 1946 in Somerville, Mass. a daughter of the late John P. and Rose (Bradley) Barry. She was raised in Somerville and graduated from North Cambridge Catholic High School with the Class of 1964. Rosemary and her former husband, Ronald Ruggiero owned and operated a sports memorabilia store in Medford and Arlington, Mass. for many years. Prior to moving to Hampton, Rosemary raised her family in Arlington, Mass. She was a communicant of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church. She enjoyed reading, puzzles, knitting and walking on the beach. Her children and grandchildren were most important. Family members include six children, John and his wife Erin, Matthew, Michael and his wife Stephanie, Kerri, Tina and Debbie Rickaby and her husband Simon, six grandchildren, Mason, Kyler, Lennix, Lynne, Brian and Ashley, her sister, Joan Musumarra and her husband Joseph, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, Phillip Barry and his wife Sharon. Visiting hours will be from 6-8 P.M. Friday, October 16, 2015 at the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 A.M. Saturday, October 17, 2015 in Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, 289 Lafayette Road, Hampton. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Beyond the Rainbow Fund, Community Relations, Attn. Vivian Brown, Exeter Hospital, 5 Alumni Drive, Exeter, NH 03833.
