Susan Jean Messer Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Unity – Susan Jean Messer, 72, of Unity and formerly of North Hampton, Newmarket, Stratham, and Dover passed away peacefully on Monday, June 13, 2022 at Sullivan County Health Care She was born in Exeter on August 21, 1949, a daughter of the late Maurice and Marjorie (Mann) Messer. Susan was raised in North Hampton and graduated from Winnacunnet High School with the Class of 1967. She worked for Seabrook Station for many years until her retirement in 2017. Susan was a member of the North Hampton Gun Club and always enjoyed talking about the sport she loved and her other hobbies including crafting, painting and drawing. Susan loved animals, especially her many cats that she had over the years. She leaves her sister, Ellen Messer of Dover, and her sister Sally Moore and her husband, Donald, of Northwood, her cousins Jane Blaney and Neal Blaney, and several other cousins. In addition to her parents, Susan was predeceased by her brother, Michael Messer and her sister, Judy Messer. A graveside service will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 in the Center Cemetery on Post Road in North Hampton. In lieu of flowers a contribution could be made to New Hampshire SPCA or The Alzheimer’s Association.
