Susan M. Piolunek

November 16, 1977 - November 27, 2021

Hampton - Susan Marie (Moore) Piolunek passed away peacefully at home surrounded by love on November 27, 2021, after a brave three-year battle with brain cancer. She was born on November 16, 1977, in Portsmouth. She was raised in Kittery, ME and graduated Kittery High School in 1996 and went on to graduate Casco Bay Community College in Portland, ME with a degree in early childhood education. Susan eventually found her way employed by Timberland for close to twenty years. Susan was an inspiration to all who knew her. She lived her life with kindness and light and exemplified the motto, ‘Be Kind’. She enjoyed spending time with her family and their dogs. Her greatest joy was her son Aiden and watching him play sports and excel in school. She loved country music, going to the Bronx Zoo, and seeing her favorite giraffes and she loved everything Disney with her favorite character being Tinkerbell. She is survived by her husband Darek Piolunek and her 11-year-old son, Aiden, her parents Gordon and Gail (Williams) Moore, her brother Chris Moore his wife Jill all of Kittery ME, her mother-in-law, Bethany H. Karcher of North Conway, her sister-in-law, Stacey Smith and her husband Pat Smith of Wareham MA and nieces and nephews Reiley, Wes and Oscar Moore, Emily and Ryan Elmes and great niece Aurora Elmes, and her beloved dogs Summer and Myah, and many close heartbroken friends and colleagues. She was predeceased by her first “fur baby” Mollie. Visiting hours will be from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Friday December 3, 2021 at Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton. A Celebration of Life will be at 2 P.M. Sunday December 5, 2021 at Bethany Church, 500 Breakfast Hill Road, Greenland.
