Hampton Falls – Walter Nichipor, 92, formerly of Hampton Falls, died Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at Oceanside Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation in Hampton. He was born April 4, 1923 in Newburyport, Mass., the son of the late Zachary and Stephanie (Radinkewicz) Nichipor. He was a graduate of Newburyport High School and was a veteran of WW II serving with the US Navy. Mr. Nichipor was employed with the Internal Revenue Service in the Boston, Mass., Albany, NY and Portsmouth offices retiring in 1979 after 30 years of service. He was a member of the First Congregational Church of Hampton, an over 60 year member of the Star in the East Lodge # 59 F & AM of Exeter, Scottish Rite Bodies Valley of Portsmouth and Dover and the Bektash Temple Shrine. He was the husband of the late Ruth L. (Lambert) Nichipor who predeceased him in 2010 and was also predeceased by three sisters and two brothers. Family members include two daughters, Carol McCarthy of Stratham, Barbara Wadleigh of East Wakefield, three grandchildren, Erika L. Wadleigh, Joseph E. Wadleigh, III, Caroline M. McCarthy and two great grandchildren, Isaac and Elijah Wadleigh. There will be no visiting hours. A Masonic service followed by his funeral service will commence at 10:30 AM, Monday, February 1, 2016 in the First Congregational Church, 127 Winnacunnet Road, Hampton. Burial will be in the High Street Cemetery, Hampton. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hampton Falls Volunteer Fire Department, 3 Drinkwater Road, Hampton Falls, NH 03844.
