Christopher N. Macenas

Hampton - Christopher N. Macenas, 54, a proud resident of Hampton Beach, NH, passed away peacefully at home on November 25, 2025. He was born March 11, 1971, in Nashua, NH. Christopher was predeceased by his devoted mother, Dianne K. Pitarys, and his loving brother, Timothy M. Pitarys. He is survived by his greatest gift, his son, Rolf Carlson; his cherished siblings, Kristine Heaton (Andrew) of Poughkeepsie, NY, and Kathleen Daley (Jeff) of Naples, FL; his father, Nicholas Macenas, and stepmother, Linda Macenas; as well as Rolf’s mother, Leslie Carlson, and grandmother, Louise Carlson and their extended family. He also leaves behind seven nieces and nephews, Amanda, Andrew III, Abigail, Brianna, Kristina, Annabelle, and Thomas; along with many extended family members and friends who loved him. Christopher grew up in Nashua, where he graduated from Nashua High School in 1989. Following high school, he built a career in landscaping and construction and went on to spend many dedicated years working at Home Depot in Seabrook, NH. Outside of work, Christopher’s deep love of sports was evident to everyone who knew him. He especially enjoyed rooting for his favorite Boston teams: the Red Sox, the Celtics, the Patriots, and the Bruins. He also had a passion for following horse racing and looked forward to watching the Kentucky Derby each year. Some of his happiest moments were spent fishing on the boat at Hampton Beach with his brother-in-law, Jeff, who was like a true brother to him, his son, Rolf, and his nephew, Thomas. These boat days were always followed by lobster bakes together at his mother’s (Nana’s) cabin. His sisters, Kristine and Kathleen, will forever cherish their 3 way phone calls on Sunday nights, a tradition that brought them so much joy and laughter. Christopher will always be remembered by the love he had for his family and the beach. His favorite nights were spent watching the sunset on his special rock at Hampton Beach. He will forever be missed as a beautiful son, father, brother, and uncle. A celebration of Christopher’s life will be held at a later date at Hampton Beach, with details to be shared by the family.
