Floriano P. Morgado

Seabrook – Floriano P. Morgado, 67, of Seabrook, NH died Tuesday, January 24th, 2023 at his winter home in Bradenton, FL. He was born in Lagoa, Azores, on July 20th, 1955, a son of the late Francisco and Maria Morgado. He is predeceased by his beloved wife of 45 years, Ann Marie Morgado. He leaves behind three sons Jeffrey, Paul and Robert, daughters in-law Jessica and Amie, six grandchildren Taya, Pacy, Ryan, Kyle, Cash, Roen, and siblings Eduarda, Tony, Maria, Natalie, Esmerelda and Adrian. Flo will be forever remembered by his numerous extended family members, neighbors, and beloved friends, all who were like family. Floriano and Ann made their home in Seabrook, raising their boys there and wintering in the Sarasota/Bradenton area for numerous years. Floriano loved golfing, both in Florida and New Hampshire, Granite Fields in Kingston NH holding a special place in his heart, as he was integral in constructing it. He is also known for his love of red wine, Portuguese music, McDonald’s fish sandwiches, and his contagious smile and laugh. His grandchildren brought him so much joy, and he cherished his title of Papa. An avid fan and spectator of their activities, he was proud of their hard work, dedication and effort. Three things that he worked hard to achieve and knew would take them far in life. The Morgados immigrated to the United States in 1968. Following in his father’s footsteps, Floriano founded Diamond Paving in 1986. A company that he literally put his blood, sweat and tears into. He was happiest driving trucks, running equipment, and making his “American Dream” come true. A harder worker won’t ever be found and he instilled that value into all that worked for him, including his three boys and his grandchildren. He leaves behind a legacy in which he proudly created and that many will strive to achieve. There will be a celebration of life for all to attend and enjoy for both Flo and Ann in the coming months, as we want to celebrate and remember two lives that left us entirely too soon. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM on Friday, February 3, 2023 in the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home – Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton, NH. A mass of Christian burial will follow at 12 PM at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church, 289 Lafayette Road, Hampton, NH. Burial will immediately follow in Hillside Cemetery, Seabrook.
