Maksim C. Causer

Hampton- Maksim C. Causer, 31 of Hampton, NH passed away peacefully but unexpectedly on November 1, 2025. Maksim was born in St. Petersburg, Russia on January 21, 1994. He was raised early on in Ipswich, MA and then moved to Hampton in 1997. Maks was a 2012 graduate of Winnicunnet High School in Hampton, NH. After high school Maks attended Great Bay Community College in Portsmouth and then Lakawanna College in Scranton, PA. Following college, Maksim spent most of his working years in the field of manufacturing. Maks was currently an employee of Boise Cascade in Greenland, NH. He enjoyed working at Boise Cascades and always spoke highly of both employees and management. Maksim was a resident of Kittery, ME for the last 4 years. Maks was a friendly, warm, loving person with a witty sense of humor, who also loved to laugh and kid around. He was strong when he needed to be and had a good outlook on where he wanted to be in life. He was polite and respectful when engaging with others. Maksim especially loved his 2-year old daughter Reina with all his heart. She certainly could make him laugh and smile. He especially enjoyed his personal time with Reina playing games, building houses and towers with blocks. reading books or when taking her to the playground. Maks was a caring son and brother. He was always in touch and spoke with us daily even when he was on his own. He was the type of person who wanted to give you a special gift on your birthday. He was known especially for his cards. He would spend considerable time finding the right card with the right words to express his feelings to each of our family members. Growing up in Hampton, Maksim played, baseball, soccer and basketball during his elementary school years. He chose soccer as his favorite in junior high and in high school played on the JV Soccer team through his junior year. Maks loved skiing, snowboarding, hiking, playing pool, watching sports, especially football, and playing video games. He was a huge animal lover as well. He will be greatly missed by our Jack Russell mix, Alvin! Maks was a huge Simpson’s fan forever! He loved his music, all kinds, with a large variety of artists. He would always say music kept him balanced. Maks was bright and had a talent with technology. He was always the go to “tech guy” in our family. He could easily fix most any problem or issue with the computer, the TV or a cell phone. This always came in very handy. Maksim is survived by his parents, Kerry D. Causer and Karla J. (McIlvin) Causer of Hampton; his daughter, Reina H. Causer; his brother, Jordan K. Causer of Raymond, NH; his sister, Kaytlin R. Causer of Aurora, CO. Maksim leaves behind his uncle, Donald B. McIlvin, Jr and wife Mary W. McIlvin of Maynard, MA; cousins Ashley Waring of Maynard, MA; Robin Payne and husband, Ron Payne of Maynard, MA. Uncle Joseph Grant and late wife Janice (McIlvin) Grant of Cape Coral, FL; cousins Elisa Ehrhardt and husband Earl Ehrhardt; niece Aryanna Ehrhardt; cousin Julie Surace and husband John Surace of Ft. Meyers FL; cousin Thomas Grant and wife Miranda Grant of Pittston, PA; Late uncle Arthur R. Causer II and uncle William Causer of Largo, FL. Maksim also leaves his late maternal grandparents, Donald B. McIlvin Sr and wife Elsbeth O. McIlvin formerly of Danvers, MA. His late paternal grandparents, Arthur R. Causer and wife Claire M. Causer of Largo, FL. Visitation will be held from 1 PM to 3 PM on Sunday, November 16, 2025 in the Remick & Gendron Funeral Home-Crematory, 811 Lafayette Road, Hampton. A service will be held in the funeral home immediately following visitation. Burial will be private.
