Yvonne T. Whiting

North Hampton –Yvonne T. Whiting, 69, of North Hampton, died peacefully in her sleep on Monday, March 30, 2015 at her home. She was born June 15, 1945 in Lynn, MA, a daughter of the late Simon and Rosella (Sharkey) LeBreux. Yvonne was raised in Lynn. She married the love of her life, the late George R. Whiting and they raised four children. For the past several years, she has lived with her daughter Angela in New Hampshire. She enjoyed many varied interests. Yvonne loved to travel and had a very adventurous spirit. She loved spending time with her family and friends; and especially enjoyed her siblings, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also loved being in nature and spending time in the garden caring for the plants and flowers. She was an avid reader and enjoyed many days curled up with a cup of tea and a good book. She had a passion for swimming and spent many fun times at the pool, the lake, and the beach. Yvonne loved working with crystals and gemstones and created many beautiful pieces of jewelry. She was a Reiki Master who was very passionate about using this healing method to help others. She is survived by her son, Gene Whiting and his partner Kathy Goss of Milton Mills; her daughter-in-law, Angela (Annie) Pietrantonio of RI; her daughters, Angela Whiting of North Hampton and Gayle Bohl and her husband Brendan of Kalkaska, MI; her brother, Paul LeBreux of Florida and her sisters, Marie MacLean of Newburyport, MA, Theresa Gray of Rochester and Jeannette Woodbury of Merrimac, MA. She also leaves behind and her 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, her lifelong best friend Pam Tyler of Rochester and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her husband George who died in 1995; her son Karl Whiting who died in 1992; her sister, Rose LeBreux and her brother, Thomas LeBreux. Family and friends may visit from 5 to 7 PM on Monday, April 6, 2015 in the Remick and Gendron Funeral Home – Crematory, 811 Lafayette Rd., Hampton. Services will be at 11 AM on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 in the funeral home. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family in their time of need.
